About me

Are you in a life place where you crave the community of other women that have previously walked where you are now? Perhaps you are a woman like me that looks for other women who have lived and thrived through difficult circumstances?

If yes, you are in the right place! At Oklahoma Slices, I help women to triumph in the seasons of life they find themselves, especially the season of today.

I’ve been walking fifty-three years on this challenging road called life. I was married for 27 years, twenty of those years working in full time ministry as a pastor’s wife and mother to my son.  I survived the trauma of divorce, yet four years later earned my Liberal Arts degree from Northeastern State University. In addition, I was ultimately blessed with my dream job working as the Executive Assistant to the Senior and Founding Pastor and the leadership team of BattleCreek Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. All this persevering (and so much more living) has taught me a plethora of lessons.

Over time, and plenty of healing, I felt strongly led to start this blog filled with the slices of life. From travel ideas to encouraging testimonies of God’s grace and love within difficult lessons, I am excited to be able to walk along side of you.

So, let’s hang out and do this life together!
